Lori S. Brown has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from East Carolina University. She worked for 23 years as a school counselor in the Onslow County School System. While she was a counselor in the school system, she worked with children, parents, and community members. During this time, she utilized cognitive behavior therapy techniques and she continues to use CBT in her current practice. Lori has been working as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate for over two years. She has experience working with victims of domestic violence and women who have experienced trauma. She enjoys helping her clients “who are going through challenging relationships” and are looking for ways to improve their situations.
