Dr. Engelstatter is the founder of Carolina Psychological Health Services. He is licensed for the independent practice of psychology in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Indiana. He is listed on the National Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology and is a diplomate of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists; the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling, and Psychotherapy; the American Board of Forensic Examiners; the American Board of Forensic Medicine; and the American Board of Psychological Specialties. Dr. Engelstatter is a member of the American Psychological Association and the North Carolina Psychological Association, where he serves on the Board of Director for the Division of the Independent Practice of Psychology. He is also a clinical member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers. Dr. Engelstatter has been involved in the provision of behavioral health services for over 40 years. In this capacity, he has been responsible for the development, implementation, and supervision of a variety of psychological health care programs in both the military and civilian communities. He has practiced in Jacksonville, North Carolina for over 30 years, and he established Carolina Psychological Health Services in July of 1988. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of a full range of psychological health care problems for children, adolescents, and adults in both outpatient and inpatient treatment settings
