An Eastern Carolina native, Caroline began her career locally upon earning her Bachelor of Social Work from Meredith College in 1996. She focused on working with children and families from a strengths-based perspective. Over the years, Caroline has worked in both the public and private sectors with an emphasis in crisis intervention. In her most recent position, she was working as a psychiatric technician providing therapeutic services to active duty military.

Caroline is a graduate from the Masters of Social Work program at the University of New England and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate. Her theoretical framework focuses on solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapies. Utilizing a systems approach is her philosophy in providing comprehensive treatment to thefamily unit.

When not at work, Caroline enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets. Her greatest accomplishment is being a mother to her son.
