David is a Licensed Clinical mental health counselor and he has received his counseling degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has almost a decade of working with clients to address the struggles that they face head on, and supports them as they work to address problems in their lives, and work on improving their lives.

David has worked in inpatient treatment centers and in community based programs through community mental health programs. He specializes in working with those who are struggling with addiction, and those having issues with depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as family conflict, men’s issues, and relationship counseling. In addition, he has significant experience working with treating personality disorders. David utilizes a strengths based approach to address here and now issues, as well as a wide variety of counseling techniques such as DBT, CBT, and experiential techniques.

David believes that each person has a unique story and journey, and that this should be honored in treatment. He believes that treatment should respect and work with the uniqueness of each individual client and he is looking forward on going on that journey with you.
