LCSW-A

Deborah has a Master of Science in Psychology (Clinical track) and has over twenty years of experience working with individuals of all ages. She is licensed in the state of North Carolina (LCMHC) and in the state of Georgia (LPC). She has provided services in a variety of settings including inpatient hospital, community-based outpatient and home-based services, public school and university environments, as well as community services for survivors of sexual and domestic violence.

Deborah believes in working collaboratively with all clients, regardless of their age or stage of life, to address their current concerns. To that end, she is comfortable utilizing a variety of techniques tailored to the individual client’s needs, including play therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, emotionally- focused therapy, solution-focused therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and a humanistic/existential approach. Assisting children and adults develop positive coping skills and resilience is her passion. When she is not working, Deborah enjoys the beach, running, swimming, gardening, and singing.
