Years in Practice: 8 years I am the proud daughter of a United States Marine Corps Veteran. As a former Marine Corps dependent, I lived in both North and South Carolina, Arizona, California, Hawaii and Okinawa. I always wanted to support our troops, and this was my contribution. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in the state of North Carolina. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists [AASECT] and a member of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors of North Carolina [LCCNC]. Currently I am pursuing my certification as a Certified Sex Therapist.
For the past 8 years I have offered Mental Health Counseling Services Online [Telehealth] and In-Person. I have worked in Private Practice settings and aboard Military Installations. I am trained in various Counseling modalities. These include: Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Grounding Techniques, Conflict-Resolution techniques, Psychological First Aid, Crisis Interventions, Grief Therapy, Human Sexuality and alternative lifestyle. I offer these services Individual Counseling sessions, Couples Sessions and Group work. Clients who are seeking services to address Depression, Anxiety, Career Changes, Empty Nest, Grief, Combat Trauma, Alternative Lifestyle exploration, Military Culture Adjustment, Sexual Health issues and Stress would benefit from my services.
When I am not offering my Counseling services, I support my adult son who is a Police Officer in our hometown. I am an Elder in my church at Chestnut Street Presbyterian Church USA. I am involved in various charitable organizations. I am a Believer. I enjoy Kareoke, Traveling, Bowling and spending time with my family.
