Dr. Danso is a licensed psychologist in North and South Carolina who provides compassionate, evidence-based services to individuals and families. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University in Palo Alto, California, and has extensive training working with culturally and diagnostically diverse individuals across various treatment settings.
Dr. Danso specializes in trauma and has extensive experience working with military service members, veterans and their families, as well as individuals impacted by domestic violence and other difficult life experiences. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected and understood, and she works collaboratively with each person to develop practical strategies for healing, recovery, and growth.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Danso conducts forensic evaluations and provides consultations for criminal and family court matters, particularly involving trauma, violence and complex family systems.
Dr. Danso also serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for Pneuma Behavioral Health where she helps develop and improve services to better support the individuals and families they serve.
